IOTA (MIOTA) started their new office in Tel Aviv, Israel with few employees. According to the report, the company have about 10 employees in their Research & Development division. IOTA performing as one of the leading coins in the cryptocurrency market at present. Recently, they Taipei partners with IOTA to become a smart city with the help of Tangle and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
IOTA is a non-profit cryptocurrency based German company, which like to provide modern technologies to the residents of Taipei in Taiwan. As a first step, the TangleID cards will be issued to the citizens of Taipei by using the Tangle technology. The Information Technology department in the Taipei City Government has also explained briefly in the official press release. IOTA’s Tangle helps to secure the transact data and money from one to another.
There is a difference in between the blockchain and Tangle technology. While the IOTA is following the Tangle to fix the problems and difficulties of Blockchain in the Crypto market.
As mentioned early, it is the non-profit organization in Germany and also it is the first company which have the approval of government on distributed ledger technology. IOTA Foundation was established in 2015 and the IOTA protocol is an open-source distributed ledger protocol for the Internet of Things. Like the partnership with the Taipei municipality, they working with many other leading organizations.
The price value of its crypto coin MIOTA is $2.00 USD at present, which down -12.95% from 24 hours ago on 1st February 2018 at 12:55 PM UTC.
